Our Certification in Obstetrics emphasizes skill and proficiency for
obstetric rehabilitation throughout the prenatal, peripartum, and postpartum periods.
Objectives:
Upon completion of this certification participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate a high level of skill and proficiency with rehabilitative
- techniques for patients within the Pelvic Health or Obstetric specialty.
- Instruct patients in exercises, self-treatment tools, and behavior modification
- strategies for symptom management.
- Implement best practices to support organizational objectives related to
- metrics and key process indicators.
- Promote the growth of rehabilitative care for these specialties to patients,
- clinicians, the local community, and referral sources through marketing
- initiatives.
- Advance specialty knowledge, evidence-based care, and education through the
- presentation of a case study
Requirements to complete the CORA Institute for Clinical Excellence:
Pelvic Health and Obstetrics certifications are described below.
Recommended completion within 16 months of registering for the certification.
