The Connection Between Retiring Early and Living Longer

This course unpacks a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to the examination/evaluation of common hand and digit pathology including but not limited to fractures, and tendon/ligament injury. Strategies for managing said conditions in the toddler to adult populations will be reviewed via didactic lecture/lab format over this 2-day course.

Target Audience: PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, ATCs

Instructional Level: Beginners

Instructional Methods: Hands-on lab, lecture with Q&A, group discussion, patient cases, evidence review. This is a live satellite course.

Course Completion Requirements: must attend the entire 2-day course and complete the post-course test

Cancellation policy 

Live and Interactive Offerings

Institute for Clinical Excellence reserves the right to cancel a course. In the unlikely event of cancellation, Institute for Clinical Excellence will issue a full refund. Institute for Clinical Excellence is not responsible for other charges incurred. 

Registrants canceling outside of 7 days may receive a full refund or transfer to another course without penalty.  

Registrants canceling within 7 days are not eligible for a refund. Registrants can transfer the credit to future registration.  

Registrants who do not show up for a course have one week after the course to notify Institute for Clinical Excellence at ptclinicalexcellence@corahealth.com of their absence and transfer the credit to another course, future registration in addition to a $50 cancellation fee. If the registrant does not notify within 7 days, all funds are forfeited. 

Course Rationale:

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: *Identify common MOI of common hand and digit pathology *Identify clinical presentations seen with common hand and digit pathology *Learn how to chose and execute the appropriate tests and measures for hand and digit injuries *Develop an evidence based POC for hand and digit rehab *Differentially diagnose and identify red flags and indications for referral out to other services

Day 1:

8:00AM-5:00PM with allotted break.

Day 2:

8:00AM-5:00PM with allotted break.
