Orthopaedic Residency

What is Orthopaedic Residency?

An orthopaedic clinical residency is a post-professional program, designed for physical therapists with 1-3 years of experience, that accelerates learning to improve clinical reasoning skills and advanced patient care abilities.


The CORA Orthopaedic Residency combines didactic work and mentoring with a scientific basis for advanced practice and encourages scientific inquiry to elevate the profession.

CORA Institute for Clinical Excellence offers Continuing Education and Orthopaedic Residency


CORA Physical Therapy’s Orthopaedic Residency Program is accredited by the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education as a post professional residency program for physical therapists in orthopaedics.

Mission Statement

The CORA Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program is committed to providing an advanced education that fosters the development of innovative, skilled, evidence-based clinicians committed to clinical excellence and professionalism and that inspires each resident to reach their full potential as a clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy.
